2024 Teen Corps Application

Thank you for your interest in the Teen Corps program at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. This year's Teen Corps program runs from Monday, June 10 until Friday, August 9th. There will be a one week vacation July 1st through July 5th.

This program is available to any teenager aged 15 to 18 on or before June 1, 2024, who resides in the city of Columbus or is a student in the Columbus City School District.

Applicants should have an interest in the environment, gardening, and entrepreneurship and have an interest in sharing knowledge with the public at our weekly farmer's market.

Applicants must have reliable transportation to Franklin Park Conservatory. TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED.

The hours expected are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8am-12:30pm. You will also be expected to work alternating Wednesday shift times, depending on which market group you are assigned. Some Wednesdays you will work from 8am-2:30pm and other Wednesdays you will work from 1:30pm-7:45pm.

A complete application consists of this application form and two recommendation forms that should be completed by two different adults who are not related to you (teachers, counselors, scout leaders, etc). Interviews for Teen Corps 2024 will take place at the Conservatory in May.

Application deadline (including recommendations) is April 26th. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
