Breakfast Dreams - A collective dream catching exercise in times of COVID-19
Dear Friends & Colleagues,
We hope that you are all safe and well during these difficult and uncertain times.
The Malta Developing Group, through the Centre for Analytical Psychology Training Malta, would like to offer a resource that may help you to reconnect with yourself as we stay at home.
During this global COVID-19 pandemic, we acknowledge that this may be a time of more intense and memorable dreams. Dreams are an invaluable carrier of information that help us to reach an understanding of psychic life.
Given that dream content holds not only individual, but also collective meaning, we invite you to participate in a collective dream journal in which you share your latest individual night-time dreams with us. This collective dream journal will offer a containing space for your dreams. It will also provide a snap shot of how global events are reflected in the content of dreams and how our mind deals with such powerful collective phenomena.
Through this collective dream journal, the main collective unconscious themes and archetypal motives emerging during this crisis will be collected and reflected upon and later shared during a seminar for those who are interested to participate and learn more about the inter-relational dimension of outer reality with the inner world of the unconscious, as well as the inter-relationality between us that binds us all together. ‘We are all in this together’ in more sense than one.
Anyone can submit dreams, so please share with your colleagues and friends. Please submit just one dream per form. You can complete the form any number of times, sending any number of dreams to us as often as you like. Dreams will be completely anonymous.
You will not be asked for personal information around your dream. These will be dreams that belong to the collective.
Feel free to share and please stay safe.
