As part of the four-day Summerville! event in Sellwood and Westmoreland, SMILE has created an opportunity for community musicians to play for friends, neighbors, and family at a hosted "Open Mic" event.  

If you're familiar with playing an open mic, signing up to play will be a little different, as we'd like folks to register in advance. This will provide us with who will be playing (we can even publicize that) and allow setup to go as smooth as possible between performers. We may have some open slots on the day of the event, but if you want to be guaranteed a slot, please use this form. We will be in touch with your time slot and any details you'll need for performing.

Time slots will be 10-15 minutes, with five minute between performers. This is open to musical performers of all genres, ages, and experience levels. As setup time will be limited to five minutes, we cannot accommodate bands with drums or extensive sound needs. We'll have a mixing board and PA, so plug in and play will be the goal. You can let us know what instruments you'll bring and any particular setup needs on the form.
