The MWMC Awards are presented annually to an individual (or individuals) involved in water monitoring in Maryland. The ideal candidates will share the spirit, vision and leadership exemplified by Dr. Carl Weber. The Awards honor those who have volunteered their time and energy towards increasing watershed awareness, advocacy and stewardship of the waters of Maryland. In addition, candidates will have worked with others towards improving communication, collaboration and the advancement of monitoring and assessment of Maryland’s waters. Candidates will have participated in organizations involved in the monitoring and stewardship of Maryland’s water resources, such as MWMC.
