Did you know that at Cessna Lifeline alone there is almost a daily requirement for blood for a minimum of 4 patients admitted. Out of this only a mere 20% requirements are met. For the rest, a good 20% of those pets in need sadly do not make it as they did not receive blood on time. (These are Cessna Lifeline specific statistics only, taken from patient records, doctor interactions. These stats are not published elsewhere.)

We launch this Blood Donor Program in the hopes that many of you with healthy, active pets will support a cause that is greater in purpose and action and will go a long way. With your help, if we can successfully register many pets under the blood donor program, we will be able to meet those requirements during times of emergency. Our biggest hurdle will be overcome when we can have a database of pets who can provide blood. Now, we take it a step further and will create a small depository of blood within our laboratory so that it can be used as and when required.

We urge you all to come forward and fill this form as it will help a lot of needy pets a great deal. At Cessna Lifeline, we have come this far thanks to your patronage only. We are because you are and we hope that this patronage will continue for a long time and for each of our sincere endeavors we take up, including this program.

This form will take just about 5 minutes to fill up but will go a long way in helping many pets. Based on your submissions, if your pet qualifies for donating blood (preliminary survey), you will receive a call from us to schedule the physical\medical assessment rounds, following which, if all goes well, your pet can donate blood.
