Write 6x6 Challenge Sign Up

The Write 6x6 Challenge is BACK!

What is the Write 6x6 challenge, you ask? Well, the CTLE invites you to create six pieces of writing, one each week for six weeks beginning March 1 (and a bonus seventh week over spring break). Aside from writing one post each week for six weeks, the only other rule is that the writing must be about teaching, learning, and/or student success. That’s a lot of latitude to write about pedagogy, tools, successes, challenges, experiences,  or hopes and dreams.

We will use the internet to write and share the work. The Write 6x6 team in the CTLE will make sure that each piece of writing crafted by faculty, staff, and administrators magically appear on the CTLE Write 6x6 blog. Once you sign up, we will contact you to offer whatever support you need!

What is in it for you besides sharing your thoughts and ideas with your colleagues? For completing each week, the participants will be rewarded with a variety of awesome treats delivered right to your office door! (If you do not have an office on campus, or if we miss you, you can stop by the CTLE to pick up your awesome rewards.)

So, are you up for the challenge? We know you are busy. We know you already share your ideas at workshops and at the water cooler, but we challenge you to use sentences as a way to reflect and share your thoughts about teaching, learning, and/or student success with a broader audience. Imagine if 20 teachers and staff survive all 6 weeks. That would produce 120 pieces of writing from GCC Gauchos.

To sign up, please fill out the form below. The first week’s writing is due March 7, and the challenge will run through April 18 with a bonus writing opportunity over spring break.
