Global ME Further Program Registration

All returning Global ME students are invited to participate in the Global ME Further Program! Participants of this program will act as ambassadors of the Global ME program after they have returned from their study abroad experience. By completing 10 hours of work, students will receive an additional Global ME Award of $250.00 CAD. In addition to the award, Global ME Further participants will gain experience in volunteering, presentation skills, cultural competency, social media, event planning, and much more.

Global ME Further participants will participate in a variety of activities during the Fall and Winter terms that will count towards the required 10 hours. Some of these roles include:

  • Participating in events and activities with inbound Global ME students (Global ME Crew)
  • Assisting with the promotion of the Global ME program (presentations, fairs, peer to peer events)
  • Volunteering at Global ME events (such as Global ME Week, Information Sessions, etc.)
  • Share their experiences about their participation in the Global ME program (written testimonials, videos, photos)
  • Creating social media content from the Global ME Instagram page
