Welcome all comers to the Third Annual Monterey Pass Art in the Park!  This event is organized by the Friends of Monterey Pass.  The purpose of the event is to highlight local artists and artisans, while also highlighting our park.  This event is free for all artists, artisans, and patrons, and will be held from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on June 3, 2023, at Monterey Pass Battlefield and Park in Blue Ridge Summit, PA. *
Required
Set up time for artists and artisans will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on the day of the event.  Artists and artisans may park on-site during this time, but must move their vehicles to a designated location off-site before the start of the event.  Transportation will be provided for artists and artisans from the off-site parking area, to Monterey Pass Battlefield and Park. *
Required
This event will be held rain or shine.  However, if there is SEVERE inclement weather (thunderstorms), the event will be moved to Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the same times mentioned above.  If severe weather is also expected for that Sunday, the event will be cancelled.  In the event such a change is necessary, you will be notified of this change the day before this event, by email.   *
Required
Each artist or artisan will be assigned a 10'x10' space prior to the event.  Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Your display must remain in this designated space.  Amenities such as tables, chairs, and tents are available, but are extremely limited.  It is strongly recommended that you bring your own tables, chairs, and tents, if desired.  Electrical hookups are available, but are also extremely limited.  If you desire electrical hookups, please request them below, but we cannot guarantee this request will be granted.  All trash must be disposed of; your assigned space must be clean before departing. *
Required
Artists and artisans may sell their work.  Work that may be sold is limited to works of art created by the artist or artisan.  Flea market items, second-hand items, liquidation items, and drug paraphernalia are all prohibited.  Artists and artisans are responsible for handling all financial transactions.  Most guests at our park find that there is strong cellular service, if artists or artisans plan on using mobile credit card devices (squares, readers, swipers) to accept payments.  As the artist or artisan, you assume all risk for damage or destruction that may occur to your work.  The Friends of Monterey Pass assumes no responsibility for damage, destruction, or injuries that may occur.  Artists and artisans should seek private insurance if desired.   *
