Tift County High School
Title I School
2022-2023
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We value your input! As a parent or guardian of a student who receives Title I services in our school, you have a right to give input about how the school budgets and spends the Title I 1% Parent Engagement money. These funds are for all students. Parent engagement means the participation of parents in regular, two-way communication involving student academic learning and other school activities, including ensuring:
a)That parents play an integral role assisting their student's learning
b)That parents are encouraged to be actively involved in their student's education
c)That parents are full partners in their student's education and are included, as appropriate, in decision making and on advisory committees to assist in the education of their student.
Title I requires the utilization of 1% of the funds to support and promote parent engagement to schools. The parent/family engagement budget for the 2022-2023 school year is approximately $3000.00. We would like to spend the budget by:
*purchase personal care kits for students
*purchase school supplies for students
*purchase school signs for students
