Open seminar by Asia Public-Private Partnership Institute (APPPI) at Toyo University
The Asian Development Bank announced that infrastructure development in the Asia-Pacific region will require 26 trillion USD (approximately 2,600-2,700 trillion yen) between 2016 and 2030 if the region is to maintain its growth momentum, eradicate poverty. Utilization of private funds through PPP is indispensable to fill this gap.

The Asia Public-Private Partnership Institute (APPPI) is a research organization established at Toyo University in 2011 to promote economic development in Asia through using PPP.

APPPI supports dozens of projects in Japan and Asia through the Regional Development Advisory Program (RDAP) and advocates management using PPP for the United Nations (UN).

For this time, we invite Dr. Jehansyah Siregar, Housing and Settlements Research Group, School of Architecture, Planning and Policy Development, Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia to lecture about possibilities for housing supply for low-income communities through PPP in terms of land use and governance in Indonesia. Due to rapid population growth in Indonesia, there is still a shortage of around 10 million houses. The Indonesian government continues to implement the One Million Housing Program to overcome this problem. In this seminar, from the perspective of land use and governance in Indonesia, we will explore the challenges and solutions for housing supply using PPP.

We are really looking forward to seeing you in this seminar.
Thank you for your participation in advance.
