Flourish is a 6 week psychotherapy group for young adult Black women that utilizes a cultural and holistic approach to mental wellness. In Flourish you will go on a journey of strengthening your mental wellness through the art of your favorite Black women like Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys and India A.Rie. Flourish celebrates Black womanhood, culture, honors Black communal healing traditions, and strengthens the mind through cognitive-behavioral approaches to care.

Flourish is an ideal group for women living with mental health conditions such as: anxiety depression, dealing with stress and challenging relationships.  Ages 18+ required to be a part of Flourish.

This is a closed group and takes place on Wednesdays starting Sept. 11th and ends on Oct. 16th. Group starts at 6:30 PM and ends at 8:30 PM.

Location:  Sista Afya - 1750 E. 71st Street, Chicago, IL 60649.

We provide a refreshments at each session

All groups are facilitated by Sista Afya’s Founder, Camesha L. Jones, LSW and a Group Assistant

Cost: $80-$120/month sliding scale. ($20 - $30 per session).
