ABOUT AWAKENHUB

AwakenHub was launched in July 2020 and has grown to over 3000 members, primarily women (#AwakenHubbers). Detailed information about AwakenHub and its community activities can be found at www.awakenhub.com. Our mission is to remove barriers to investment, scale, and success for women founders.

In our inaugural year, women founders expressed a need for a separate private community to share, learn, and ask questions in a sacred space. We piloted a private closed group in 2021, using Slack on an invitation-only basis. In 2023 we migrated the closed community into our bespoke members only AwakenClub Platform for increased visibility, access, and the ability to forge meaningful connections.

AwakenClub is not a selling space but a peer community for informal advice, guidance, confidence-building, capacity enhancement, expertise development, and connectivity.

We selectively onboard a limited number of women founders each month based on a 'good fit' policy. Group membership is curated and open to women founders/founding & startup teams in Ireland and its diaspora with ambitions to build/grow/scale their business. It also includes a handpicked group of ‘Big Sisters’ who offer informal advice and guidance as company builders, investors, entrepreneurs, innovators and industry experts.

Annual Membership costs £140 per person and includes:

  • A ticket to our online AwakenHub community monthly events (normally £10 per event)
  • Access to the AwakenHub co-founding Team
  • Direct contact with other members of the AwakenClub women founders community
  • Shared intelligence and information
  • Private monthly (2nd Friday) informal drop-in sessions - topics identified by members
  • ‘Big Sisters’ - a handpicked group of experienced entrepreneurs and company builders
  • Shared intelligence and a growing bank of information/resources 
  • NEW for 2024 Big Sister Sessions
  • Executive Coaching Group (limited  capacity each year - selection process)
  • County Ambassadors (NEW for 2024)
  • Legal Workshop Series (NEW for 2024)
  • Private pitch practice for those selected to pitch to our sister entity AwakenAngels - www.awakenangelshq.com
  • Invites to inperson meet ups and third party partner and ecosystem events
  • Any other new benefits as they develop

THE ASK:

1.            Terms of Engagement: Commit to this being a peer exchange platform, offering help to other women founders, using it as a safe space for tough questions or unbiased advice.  Information and advice shared does not replace appropriate legal /financial /professional advice  Do not exploit the goodwill of the group; it is not a selling platform.

2.            Annual Subscription: Individual annual subscription of £140 (or equivalent in Euro). AwakenHub is a registered social enterprise and relies on subscriptions to cover overhead costs and support its mission. All profits are reinvested to meeting our social impact mission.

3.            Help Us Grow: Identify and encourage other women founders/allies who would benefit from AwakenClub to apply.

The application form below is mainly a 'Tick Box' series of questions with a few open questions so we can get to know you a bit better and will take you a few minutes to complete. Section 1 is 'your information' bit, followed by 5 diversity questions (looks longer that it is). The last section is a simple tick box to agree our T&C's.
