Our "Working to a brief" Filmmaking taster workshops are an extension to our Virtual Open Days.
Guided by film creative Simon Oblescak, our online workshop will throw you straight into what we call "an impossible brief". You'll be assigned a small crew and challenged to collaboratively ideate and produce a 1-minute film. This workshop will get your narrative juices flowing while we guide you through our learning approach. We will put your storytelling and narrative building skills to work, whilst exploring how to be creative working with limitations and setting up resourceful and adaptable workflows.
This workshop is an adaptation from our online Filmmaking Day, which takes place over a whole day at the start of the first semester of our 1 and 3-year Film Production degree courses.
