Outdoor Adventure Day Preference
Here's the itinerary for the day:
9:00-10:00am- Takeout Continental Breakfast – Cosgrave Dining Hall (off-campus participants may pick up lunch at this time)
10:30am activities:
– Stand up Paddleboarding Group travels to Wilmore Dam for instruction and water fun. Students will have trained instructors from SurfsUP Pittsburgh, sunscreen, and PFDs provided. Bring a towel- open to the first 22 interested participants. Face covering required on a socailly-distanced schoolbus and during instruction.
- Outdoor Yoga on the Whaley Plaza (outside the front of the Main Administration Building) with instructor Laura Michaels
- Hiking on campus on the Mountie Trail
-Hiking off campus at the Charles Lewis Natural Area (A 4-mile, moderate hike)
What should I bring?
Yoga:
Yoga mat or towel, comfortable clothing, water, sunscreen, face covering
Hiking:
Comfortable clothing, drawstring bag, sneakers or boots, socks, sunglasses, necessary medication, water, optional snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, face covering lunch if off campus (may pick up through Sage Dining).
Paddleboarding:
Old sneakers, river sandals, and a change of shoes, towel, swimsuit, athletic clothing, necessary medication, sunscreen, insect repellent, water, optional snacks, face covering lunch (may pick up through Sage Dining).
Everyone brings a mask, a smile and a positive attitude!
