Adult Dental Assistant: Dental Assisting is a life changing career choice. Learn dental terms, X-ray techniques, instruments, treatment room preparation, chair-side assisting, and preventative dentistry skills. Upon completion of course requirements, students earn a Radiology Safety Certification. 10-month credit towards a 15-month work experience requirement to be eligible to become a Licensed Registered Dental Assistant with the Dental Board of California. BLS 8-hour CPR Certification highly skilled knowledgeable DA's are needed in dental offices including General Practice, Pediatric, Orthodontic, Periodontist, Prosthodontist, Endodontists, and Oral Surgery. Upon successful program completion, students will receive an ROP Certificate of Proficiency.
