Women of Impact Nomination Form
Active, Boone County-serving 501c3 nonprofit organizations can complete this form to self-nominate for the next quarterly Women of Impact meeting. All below questions must be completed in order for your nomination to be official and your organization to be put into the pool of nominees for a chance to be 1 of the 3 drawn presenters.

NEW in 2023: In addition to this nomination form, organizations must complete the separate 'Required Documentation For All CFBC Granting in 2023' process in GLM. Any organization seeking grant funding from CFBC in 2023 must provide the listed documentation in order to be eligible for funding. You only need to complete it one time to be eligible for all CFBC granting in 2023, including Women of Impact. You can access GLM here: https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=cfboone. GENERAL WOMEN OF IMPACT DETAILS:

Women of Impact Boone County group is a philanthropic women’s group, coordinated by the Community Foundation of Boone County. This group provides financial support for local nonprofit organizations while creating a sense of community. Members come together quarterly, pool their dollars together, and award a grant to a Boone County-serving nonprofit. Since 2017, the group has awarded more than $250,000

For each meeting, nonprofits self-nominate qualifying nonprofits and members nominate any additional nonprofits. All nominations are entered into a drawing. Three nominees are drawn and then each speak for 5 minutes, sharing with the members who the organization is, their mission, and how their organization could benefit from receiving that specific quarterly grant. After hearing all three nominees speak, members vote and the nominee with the most votes receives that quarterly grant! The grant is unrestricted and grantees are held to the CFBC grant reporting process.

Qualified organizations MUST have an active 501(c)(3) status. Qualified organizations MUST serve Boone County. If your organization is drawn to speak, the speaker must be a female and can be a board member, staff, or volunteer. The presentation must be no longer than 5 minutes and cannot include any type of visuals. Think of it as an elevator pitch- it's just talking and sharing with the members about your group.
