There are no new updates on Covid-19 booster shots after the Bivalent booster approved on September 1st last year in 2022. However, the FDA( US. Food and Drug Administration) has issued new guidelines stating that individuals over 65 years old and those with serious underlying conditions that weaken their immune system can receive the same Bivalent booster shot one more time.
Please double-check your Covid-19 vaccination records. If your last vaccination was recorded after September 2022, please cancel your Covid-19 vaccination appointment or contact our Covid-19 hotline at 952-378-6783. In other words, individuals under 65 without immunodeficiency can only receive the bivalent booster shot at the 5/12/2023 vaccine clinic if their last Covid-19 vaccination record was before September 2022.
