At Royal Palm Beach High School, driving to school is a privilege which requires responsibility and maturity. To be eligible for a parking permit, you MUST:

1. Have no textbook, uniform, or other outstanding financial obligations to Royal Palm Beach High School.

2. Observe a 5 mile per hour speed limit and observe all traffic signs on campus.

3. Observe all reserved parking zones and only park the student designated area. Parking in other areas may result in your vehicle being towed at your expense.

4. Permanently affix your parking permit to the rear window of your vehicle in the bottom right corner.

5. Drive forward into parking spaces. Backing into parking spaces is NOT permitted.

6. Only use your assigned Permit. Parking permits are non-transferable.

7. Pay a parking permit fee.
Fee Schedule:
a. Original Permit: $50
b. Replacement Permit (due to loss or damage): $25

8. Not leave valuables of any kind on open display inside a parked vehicle.

9. Understand and agree that all student vehicles are subject to search. Students should not bring illegal materials or contraband onto school grounds.

10. Understand and agree that students found to be in possession of a lost, stolen, or unregistered parking permit will face penalties including suspension from school and forfeiture of future parking privileges.

11. Not use your vehicle to leave school at unauthorized times. Students that leave school at unauthorized times (“skipping”) may have their parking privilege revoked.

12. Understand and agree that failure to follow any of the above stated rules or committing acts that may be hazardous to yourself or others, including property damage, will result in disciplinary action including loss of parking privileges.

13. Understand and agree that refunds will not be issued to students that lose their parking privilege due to a violation of any of the above rules or administrative action.
