Please fill out this form if you would like to register for the Planning Case Competition hosted by the MES at York Planning Alumni Committee (MYPAC) and the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change (EUC).

The Planning Case Competition will take place on Thursday, October 14, 2021 between 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, facilitated remotely via Zoom.

Students will participate in groups of 4 and work together to develop innovative solutions to a specific planning case study. The case study will be announced shortly before the date of the Case Competition. Students will work together and present their solutions to a panel of established planners who've graduated from the MES Planning program.

Students may register as a full team (4), or as a partial team (2-3) or as an individual and will then be assigned with other students to form a full team.

Prizes
First Place: $2000 ($500 per student)
Second Place: $800 ($200 per student)
Third Place: $400 ($100 per student

Who CAN participate:
MES Planning Students

Who CANNOT participate:
MES Students, not specialized in Planning
Students from other EUC programs
Students from other York programs, including Urban Studies and Geography.
