Please read carefully through the information below and provide the required details. Once we receive your form, we will review your application and determine whether you will be added to the list of participating artists. You will be connected with your business as soon as possible to begin planning your window painting.

The Elmhurst Pride Collective will provide all the paint, brushes, and other supplies.

The Elmhurst Pride Collective will assign each volunteer artist to a business and will connect you via email, unless another communication method is requested. You will meet with your business representative to determine the size, scope, and theme of the art, as well as any restrictions. The painting should reflect the business in some way, allow you some flexibility to showcase your artistic style, and, of course, celebrate Pride! Please make sure to include the words "Elmhurst Pride 2023" somewhere in the design. Please set a date for painting, no earlier than May 20, and no later than June 4. [Please understand that weather may impact plans.] *

The EPC will schedule a Paint Pickup Day and will notify artists of this date as soon possible. If you can not pick up your paint and supplies at this time, you will need to arrange pickup in the following week as time allows. *

Each business owner is responsible for removing the window paint at the end of Pride month. It is not the responsibility of the artist to remove the paint. *

If a business is unable to paint their windows but would still like to participate, we also offer the option of having a banner painted to hang inside or outside the store. The banner is approximately 3'x6' and comes with rope and grommets for easy hanging.

The EPC will provide this banner, and it will come with all the same paints and supplies as will be used by window painters.

I am open to painting a banner instead of a window, understanding that I will have to be able to complete the work at my own home or other convenient location (not provided by the store or EPC).
