FAQ
1. How do I use GADER for Flex?
Once you have completed your GADER, please fill out this form indicating how and when you earned your GADER for the year. Once your GADER is verified, you will receive a signed copy of this form that you can then use toward your Flex obligation.
2. When will my GADER be processed?
This form will be processed as follows:

Once in October 2019 and once in December 2019
•
Weekly from the start of the spring semester until the GADER deadline of March 15, 2020
•
During the first week of May 2020
•
At the end of June 2020
If the form is complete, and the information on the form is verified, you should expect to receive a signed copy of this form in your mailbox to acknowledge your GADER obligation has been met, and, to be used toward your Flex obligation, within a week of the processing periods listed above. If the form is incomplete or your GADER could not be verified, you will receive a query by email.
3. What is GADER / How do I Learn More?
As a reminder, in order to remain eligible to teach DE courses, PT faculty are required to complete three hours of GADER and FT faculty are required to complete six hours of GADER. To learn more about GADER, and to see a list of GADER opportunities, go to

4. My GADER will not be complete by March 15. Should I still fill out this form?
If you will not complete your GADER by by March 15, 2020, but plan to complete it between March 15, 2020 and June 30, 2020, please do not fill out this form! Instead, please fill out the GADER 2019-2020 Anticipated Completion form by March 15, 2020
