Reach Out to Help: Stress Workshop Series #4
Live on Zoom (we never record!)
Thursday, June 15, 7:30pm to 9:00pm Eastern

We all know the costs of stress: the frustration, exhaustion and general sense of being ground down or amped up beyond what is useful. But what changes when we ask ourselves what our stress responses are trying to do for us?  In this 4 session workshop series, we'll explore the benefits of the 4 basic stress responses: fight, flight, freeze and tend and befriend.

Did you know that there's a fourth stress response? It's called tend and befriend, and we see it in action after a natural disaster when people take to the streets to help their neighbours. While self-care can be isolating, other-care connects you and the people you help when you need connection most. We are all people people: we all feel better in the company of people we trust and reaching out to help builds trust.

Thanks for registering for this event, We will email you the Zoom information and links to a handout one week before the event and send another reminder one day before the event.
