Thank you for your interest in serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Lorain with Littles! In order to file for our 501(c)3 non-profit status we must have a minimum of 3 board members. A President (Sarah Puskas), Secretary, & Treasurer. Additional positions will be added & defined based on qualifications of candidates.*

Lorain with Littles’ mission as an organization is to help families with young children get out of the house for little to no money at all, and to highlight all the fun there is to be had in Lorain County and surrounding areas.

As a board member, you’ll be part of a group of decision-makers that can influence the current and future shape of Lorain with Littles. Completing this form will help you understand the skills and time/resource commitments of this position. You may find it helpful to read through the entire application and Board Member Responsibilities before you begin filling it out.

Serving as a trusted advisor to the Lorain with Littles Team as s/he develops and implements our Strategic Plan

Reviewing agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings.

Approving Lorain with Littles' annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; being informed of, and meeting all fiduciary responsibilities.

Contributing to an annual performance evaluation of the Lorain with Littles Team

Assisting the Lorain with Littles Team and board chair in identifying and recruiting other Board Members.

Partnering with the Lorain with Littles Team and other board members to ensure that board resolutions are carried out.

Serving on committees or task forces and taking on special assignments.

We are very excited to review all the applications and wish we could accept everyone, but we will be starting small at first & hopefully continue to grow in the near future.
