ARP ESSER Public Comment Form
In March 2021 President Biden signed the Federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, Public Law 117-2, into law. The ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Act (ARP ESSER) provides funds for school districts to safely reopen, sustain the safe operation of schools, and address the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nation’s students. The ARP Act requires that the district plan for the safe return to in-person instruction and continuity of services for all schools (Safe Return Plan) be posted on the district website and seek public comment on the Safe Return Plan and take those comments into account in finalization of the Safe Return Plan. This plan will be reviewed at least every 6 months. With each update there will be an opportunity for public comments.

The Clifton Public Schools Safe Reopening Plan was originally presented at the June 10, 2021 BOE Public meeting. This form remains open for public input for each six month update of this plan.
