Eugene Science Center Board of Directors Application Form
Eugene Science Center (ESC) was founded in 1961 recently changed its mission to inspire scientific curiosity and foster critical thinking about the universe and our place in it. After more than 60 years of community engagement, ESC is anxious to take its next big step and is looking for community leaders to help this home-grown museum become a world-class science center. If you want to support these goals, we are interested in your involvement with the ESC Board.

Board service requires an appreciation of the value of science in our lives and its power in the development of the minds of our children. Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings (currently the 4th Wednesday of the month from 6-8PM), serve on one or more board committees, assist with fundraising, ensure sound fiscal management of the organization, promote and attend ESC programs and events, and make contributions within your capacity.

Each board term is two years, with a maximum of three consecutive terms.

An appreciation of science has never been more important. We welcome your support through your service on the board. Additional information is given below, but if you'd like more information, please contact Executive Director, Tim Scott, at tscott@eugenesciencecenter.org
