CWA +College Application 2024-2025
CWA+ College is an opportunity for CWA students in good academic standing (passing most recent CWA term's classes) to take college classes.  CWA will pay for $1,000. worth of college classes per school year at a community college or Oregon Tech for eligible students.  College classes are generally considered to be courses numbered 100 or higher.  

Students:  

Please submit this form if you would like to apply for CWA to cover your tuition expenses to take a college class.  The due date for Fall term classes is September 10th, Winter term classes is December 1st and Spring term classes is March 1.

Please refer to the Getting Started at Clackamas Community College link below for links and step by step guidelines on how to apply and complete the placement process.  The links are specific to Clackamas Community College; however, the process is similar at most community colleges. (Apply as a high school student, do the college placement process, set up college account.)

This application must be submitted for EVERY TERM  that a student is applying to take a college class.
You must meet with your high school counselor to discuss taking a college class.

Attendance in College Classes
Attendance is required.
Planned absences are not allowed for college classes.  If you are planning to be out of town, participate in Outdoor School or any other activity that would cause you to miss a college class, please plan to take a college class a different term than the one in which you have planned events that would cause you to miss a class.  

Please note that even in the case of severe or contagious illness,  if more than two classes are unavoidably missed, you most likely will not be able to pass the class.
