The first kindergarten event for Marshall County Schools will be held at each elementary school on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 5:00pm.  Parents and incoming Kindergarten students are invited to attend. Please make arrangements for siblings if possible. Please complete the form below (1 per child) to register for the first event. This form does NOT register your child for Kindergarten.

Please bring the following items with you:
1. Your child's social security card
2. A physical examination by the Health Department or a family physician within one year of Kindergarten entry
3. Record of immunizations
4. Eye exam by an optometrist to be completed by December 31, 2025
5. A Certified copy of the student's birth certificate- not a hospital record. If you do not have a certified copy of the birth certificate, you may call the Marshall County Health Department at (270) 527-1496 for necessary forms to mail off or order online by visiting https://www.vitalchek.com/birth-certificates/kentucky/kentucky-office-of-vital-statistics
6. Evidence of a dental screening or dental exam after your child’s fifth birthday but no later than December 31, 2025. This dental form is available at the following website https://education.ky.gov/districts/SHS/Documents/KDESHS005_DSF_ADA.pdf
7. (2) Proof of residency in the Elementary school district (utility bill, property tax record, etc.)
