Session 1: (Schools)
  8:45am-9:15am: Registration for schools begins promptly (head coach only please).
  9:30am- 11:30: All school races in Aloupis Pool
Session 2: (Adults)*
  11:45am-12:15pm: Registration for adults. To limit congestion please do not arrive prior to 11:45.
  12:30pm-1:30pm: Adult Fundamental races in Means Pool
  12:30pm-3:00pm: Adult Traditional races in Aloupis Pool
*If your agency has athletes in the 16-21 age group, they will participate in Session 2 with your team.

To register Athletes in your delegation for this event, complete the form below by providing each athlete's event and qualifying score.  This registration form will allow you to register 10 athletes at a time.  Delegations that are larger than 10 athletes will be required to submit this form again (there will be a link to "Submit another Response" once you submit this form).  Delegations are required to provide qualifying scores for all events their athletes compete in.  Qualifying scores should be obtained by completing the required training and will be used to properly division events by age and ability.
 
You will need the following information to complete this registration process:
       o HOD Name/Email
       o Athlete: Gender, Date of Birth, Event and Qualifying Score

Athletes competing in the Fundamental Swim events are not eligible to compete in the traditional events.
10 Yard Assisted Swim:
Each athlete is responsible for having his/her own coach/assistant.  The assistant may touch, guide or direct the athlete, but may not support or assist the athlete’s forward movement.  The athlete may use a flotation device.  The assistant may be in the pool or on deck.

15 Yard Flotation & 25 Yard Flotation Swim:
Each athlete is responsible for his/her own flotation device.  These races do not allow physical assistance by coaches or volunteers once the race has begun.  However, coaches may assist athletes to hold their position at the start line, prior to the start of the race.  

15 Yard Unassisted Swim:  
Athletes must swim the entire distance without assistance or flotation.  Coaches may offer encouragement and direction to athletes from outside the pool, only.  This event is basically a 15 yard Freestyle.  

Flotation Devices:  Athletes are responsible for his/her own flotation, which must be a U.S. Coast Guard approved device. Flotation devices such as kickboards, swim belts, inner tubes or floats that wrap around arms are not acceptable.  
The outside lane request is only for athletes that would be unable to participate unless placed in an outside lane.

At anytime during this process you can always select the "Back" button (bottom of the form, to the left of the "Next" button) to go back and review/edit the data that you completed prior to your current section.  Once this form is completed entirely and submitted (click "Submit" on the last section) the HOD will receive an email (to the email provided) with a PDF confirmation of you what was submitted.  Changes to what your Delegation submitted can be made up until 2 weeks prior to the event, the sooner the better! Athletes must have a current Athlete Medical and Consent/Release on file with SOMaine prior to March 11th in order to be properly registered for this event.  To check on your athletes medical and consent information contact Mike Littlefield, at MikeL@somaine.org.  Blank Athlete Medical and Release forms can be downloaded from the State Website at www.somaine.org/sports/athlete-resources/.   Medicals remain current for three years and the release is good forever (or until updated).  The Release form was recently update in 2017.  Any athlete with a Release form signed prior to January 1st, 2017 must submit a new updated consent.
