We are in the process of securing funding for a full-time reporter in San Angelo. This reporter will be funded in part by Report for America and will be able to provide regional reporting for other NPR stations through the Texas Newsroom and the Texas Standard. To qualify for this funding, this reporter will need to focus on a particular content area for the Texas Newsroom and Texas Standard. What would be the most valuable content area to focus on in San Angelo?

One of our goals is to have a new original radio program produced out of San Angelo by the Summer of 2023. We plan for this to be the first of multiple original programs to be produced out of San Angelo. Which, if any, of these genres seems the most interesting for us to pursue?
