The Fairbanks North Star Borough School District is soliciting applications from parents interested in serving as a voluntary committee member on the Parent Engagement Committee for the 2022-23 school year. The Parent Engagement Committee will act in an advisory capacity regarding parent involvement in school district activities.

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please complete this application form. Printed copies of the application are also available in the Superintendent's Office, Administrative Center, 520 Fifth Avenue, Fairbanks, AK 99701.

Please note: Voluntary committee members shall be limited to membership of one committee. The community members on this committee must be parents of current FNSBSD students. Individuals employed by the school district are not eligible to apply for parent/community member committee positions and should talk to their association leadership (ESSA, FEA, FPA) if they are interested in serving in one of the employee seats on this committee.

If selected for the committee parents are eligible to serve a two-year term.
