The Senesh School Parents Association is excited to host the Inaugural 2024 Pop-Up Hanukkah Shuk: A Local Holiday Market. The market will take place on Sunday, December 15th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at The Senesh School at 342 Smith Street. We are excited to create a destination for holiday shopping for Senesh families and the wider community! The Shuk will be part of Senesh’s annual Light It Up! Brooklyn Family Hanukkah Arts Festival & Shuk enjoyed by 300+ kids and adults from throughout the Brooklyn community.
We are gathering a vibrant group of Jewish, Israeli, and local community vendors together to offer jewelry, clothing, artisanal foods, Judaica, art, and other gifts for the Hanukkah season.
The vendor fee for entry will be $54. The Senesh School may be able to provide an 8-foot table for an additional $25, based on limited availability and on a first-come, first-serve basis. (UPDATE 12/2: TABLES NO LONGER AVAILABLE) Please note that vendor tables may be stationed outdoors and vendors will be responsible for setting up your stations accordingly (bringing a pop-up tent, if desired, wearing warm clothing, etc.) and bringing signage or anything else you would like to decorate or display at your table. Senesh is not able to provide electricity, but vendors are welcome to bring their own power.
We will promote your brand in marketing materials for the event, including on the school Instagram and Facebook accounts as well as our Senesh website. Numerous emails and postings will be sent to our school and surrounding community partners. In addition, posters will be placed around Carroll Gardens and nearby neighborhoods.
Payment forms will be sent in early December. Once you commit, we cannot refund your payment, unless we have to cancel the event for some unforeseeable reason. In the case you need to cancel your participation, we will consider your payment a donation to The Senesh School Annual Fund that supports student programming.
Get your applications in! We will begin accepting vendors as soon as possible! Please contact hannahseneshpa@gmail.com for more information.
The Senesh School reserves the right to deny applications not appropriate for the event.
