Summer School Survey
Parents/Guardians of Washington County School's Students:

We are working on plans for summer school for students and need some information from you to help us plan. Below is some information that may help you as you consider sending your child or children to summer school.

Please complete this survey if you may have  interest in your child and/or children attending summer school. This is NOT a firm commitment, but we need estimated numbers in order to plan accordingly. It is our desire, if there is enough demand, to offer summer school in each school community at the elementary level. If there is not as much demand, we may need to combine programs/schools. Transportation will be provided.

For elementary, middle, and high school students, summer school will last three (3) weeks (June 6–June 24; M-Th. for elementary and middle, and M-F for high school).

The focus at the elementary and middle school levels will be on strengthening instructional knowledge from this year as well as providing extended learning and positive engagement in the school setting.

At the high school level, the focus will be on helping students recover credit they were not able to obtain during this year and completing requirements for graduation as well as positive engagement in the school setting.

There will also be a "Jump-Start" week for Kindergarten students. During July, more information will be provided to families who complete Kindergarten registration this March.

For rising 6th grade and 9th grade students, we are hoping to offer orientation sessions of one or two days during July (middle school) or August (high school) to introduce students to their new school and what to expect. You will receive additional information from the middle and high schools about these orientations later.

The form must be submitted for each student interested in attending the program.  If you have more than one child for which you would like to complete the form, please submit the form then choose the "Submit again" option to start over for each child.
