We're looking at running a Funday's event at Squirrel Wood Scout Campsite instead of a parade. We want to make our event as inclusive as possible, and exciting as possible - after all, we do Scouting for the young people.
We're looking at running a leader's social on the Friday night to bring everyone together.
On the day, we want to run various activities, skills and crafts bases for the young people to do. The day will start with an opening ceremony, go to the activities & close with a closing ceremony.
In terms of explorers, they'd be part of the event - we'd have them for the opening ceremony, we'd then give them the option for them to be taken on a climbing day/water sports day and then bring them back in for the closing.

In the closing ceremony, this will involve the renewal of the promise.

Please note to make it financially viable we would look to charge a maximum of £5 per Child.
