Romantic Fantasy Shelf Blog Application
Do you enjoy blogging and/or writing articles? Are you interested in writing a blog post to help boost your new release or another title in your catalog? Or, would you like to share your thoughts and start a conversation?

We are actively taking submissions from the romantic fantasy author community! Your blog post, along with your release/title, will be featured on the Romantic Fantasy Shelf website as well as the relevant reader group.

- Second world romantic fantasy
- Second world fantasy romance

Genres covered by Romantic Fantasy Shelf Next Gen:
- Romantic urban fantasy (RUF)
- Paranormal romance (PNR)
- Science fantasy romance, science fiction romance, and romantic science fiction
- Contemporary romantic fantasy
- Historical fantasy romance
- Alien romance
[This includes monogamous, menage, polyamorous, and reverse harem relationships, heterosexual and LGBTQIA+ characters, and all steam levels. Erotic romance, erotica, and NSFW will not be accepted.]

Please fill out the application below to be considered for a blog post slot. A submission of application does not guarantee that you will be chosen. You may submit ONE application for EACH blog post you wish to apply for.

--> Important Criteria to Consider:

- You must submit a NEW and ORIGINAL post (suggested subjects listed below).

- Please avoid promoting your books within the article itself. The idea is to write a good article that provokes thought, presents a new idea, or provides interesting information. Engage the reader. Your new release/title will be featured at the end of the article. Your book's cover will also be the featured image.

- You will only be contacted if your application is chosen for publication on Romantic Fantasy Shelf. Please do not contact the RFS team to ask about status or if you are chosen. Please allow up to 3 weeks for review (RFS is run by authors on their own time and for free).

- Articles will be reviewed prior to publication. Content and editing suggestions may be requested. Target length is 1500-3000 words.

- Please fill out the form correctly and completely. Also, please ensure that you have selected the correct genre of your book (or the one that closest aligns). This will get your article and book in front of the right readership.

- We accept ALL LEVELS of heat/steam within the genres defined above. However, erotic romance, erotica, and NSFW will not be accepted.

- Clean STORE links only. No aggregators, universal links, affiliate links, or link shorteners. Anything but clean store links will not be accepted.

- Books must have professional-looking covers and formatting.

- If your blog post is selected/published, we request that you share the article with your readership (e.g. your newsletter, reader group, page, blog, and/or other social media stream).
