The Ticker Asks: The migration of professors' emails
Hello, Baruch College students!

The Ticker is back in production for the summer issue.

We're covering a story on how the administration's migration of professors' email platform from Microsoft Exchange to Microsoft 365 at the start of May, as finals season was kicking in. This prevented professors from accessing emails from students that were sent before the migration, causing frustration in the faculty.

We're interested in hearing from the student perspective, especially if you were impacted by the migration in some way.

If you're a current student or an alumnus who experienced issues with reaching out to professors — alternatively, had a professor who lamented on the issue — we would like to hear from you.

We may publish your response and name in an article on The Ticker's website, theticker.org

Before hearing it from The Ticker, did you know that Baruch migrated the faculty's email platform from Exchange to 365? If yes, how?
What is your experience regarding this change? Be it hearing your professor talk about it or you trying to reach out/hear back from professors before the semester ended?
Is there anything else you have add?
