The AZM Steering Committee encourages you to submit a video or promo of your
Dojo/company and a link to your website for review and approval. We will create a space for
this information to be publicized on our website for the 2022 Festival.

This year we are only accepting videos that have been uploaded to YouTube and have a link.
This will ensure you have checked the quality of the sound and content to your liking.

Suggestions to include in your video:
- Your business history
- It’s significance to the AZ
- A demonstration or explanation of some particular merchandise
- Your contact information, and at the end, a coupon or special discount code

Video Parameters:
Participants should plan on participating in the following video preparation, participation, and
submission timeline. The full hours of the 2022 Arizona Matsuri are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
each day, Saturday, February 26th and Sunday, February 27th. Applications are open online
from November 8th, 2021-January 9th 2022. We prefer that your videos be at least 3 minutes in
length and are no more than 15 minutes.

1. Videos will be used on our AZMatsuri.org website or referenced and linked to the AZM
YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and/or other AZM social media outlets.
2. Content must be family friendly.
3. Originality is encouraged! Be sure to show an unique aspect of your business.
4. Quality sound and video are required. Audio levels and clarity, adequate lighting and
video stability are suggested to gain approval of your video.
5. Videos, links, logos and all pertinent information are due when applications are
submitted. The AZM Steering Committee will review all content, and time is needed to do so.
The earlier submissions are received, the better for all involved. Thank you in advance.
6. Optional: We suggest that a 10% coupon for Arizona Matsuri guests be offered at the end
of the video presentation as a thank you for watching and to push participants to shop with you.
Suggestions are using “AZMatsuri” or “AZMKintsugi” as your coupon code.

Video Description
Purpose: To highlight and celebrate the contributions of authentic Japanese Culture, and and
also the Japanese American history in the U.S. and Arizona, and to increase awareness and
educational opportunity for the general public. A specific focus is placed on: history, cultural
significance, philosophy, mini-lessons/tutorials and contact information for continuing education.
