Fukuoka Now welcomes applications internships inside our office. Ideal applicants are those who have a strong desire to get real work experience in media, in Japan. Tasks and projects will be offered depending on the applicant's skills and availability. Our office is a busy and creative environment - ideal for those who enjoy problem solving, accomplishing tasks and building things - and giving something back to the international community in Fukuoka.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with any of the following skills or experience:
• English language editing, proofreading, writing, or reporting
• Translation - Japanese to English
• Photography
• Videography and/or video editing
• WordPress websites updating
• SNS management
Qualifications
• Proficiency with PCs (Mac preferred)
• Some Japanese language ability
• Fluent or near fluent English language
Compensation
• these are unpaid , work-for-experience internships
• Transportation between residence and FN office is negotiable
• Expense for out of office reports/errands covered by FN
Letter of Completion/Recommendation
• Fukuoka Now will issue a letter describing the intern’s contribution within 1 week upon successful completion.
