BASICS

When? from 28th March to 4th April 2022 (Arrival and departure days)

Who? 3 youth workers, monitors (+ 18 years old), from each country: Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Greece, France and Spain. 
We expect youth workers, monitors, volunteers working with youths/kids/adults in collective, organizations or particulary that want to gain skills to recognice any kind of discrimination, to create action plans within the entity for their target groups. Youth workers that want to achive a more inclusive and active society.

Where? Obón (Teruel), Spain

Costs? Accommodation and meals are covered by Erasmus +. 
Travel costs are cover up to the limit: 
* Standard travel (by plane)  ----->  300€ /participant  
* Green travel -----> 360 €/ participant (travelling by land: bus, train, shared car,.... NOT flights)
* Spanish participants ------> Up to 120 €

SUMMARY

The training course "Reflect Identify Act Care Transform Society"  aims that youth workers will acquire skills to identify and know how to react to discriminatory and/or abusive situations, to inspire in youngs a process of reflection and change to combat social exclusion and generate a more socially involved society that generates a change in coexistence, accepting and celebrating the diversity of people.

It will be based on practical workshops and sessions on the following topics:
- practical group dynamics: stereotypes and roles
- "Youths acting with care" 
- workshops for a transformative experience (sensitisation-training-awareness-action)
- games and dynamics to understand micro machismo, social isolation, discrimination for racial or cultural
reasons, different abilities, etc.
- contributions of entities and collectives working in the topic at different levels
- creation of protocols to act in front of discriminatory attitudes.
- Workshop to draw up protocols for associations and entities to detect sexist actions, exclusion, bullying,
action to be taken and how to give support.
- contribution and reflection of youth workers in their places of origin.

The methodology of the course will be based on horizontal self-training, working groups, practical and outdoor
activities with the contribution of collaborating organizations and participants.
