Marketing & Communications Assistant Application
You'll assist with our Marketing / Communication strategies! We regard our brand at GUC highly and are always looking for ways to creatively connect with our target audience! In your role, you'll get involved in: 

- Working with our content creators on strategies for content for our website, social media platforms and newsletters.
- Managing themed campaigns we may have that are inline with key dates/weeks within the industry e.g. Apprenticeship week, International Women's in Engineering day, A-Level/University student dates etc.
- General administration via a theme tracker, release schedules and quality checking all marketing material produced. 
- Monitoring & reporting on the analytics/engagement from our social media platforms / newsletters to support the wider growth of GUC.
- Sourcing and producing engaging marketing + content ideas/suggestions to ensure we are up to date, relevant and interesting to our target audience.

​Experience would be beneficial however don’t worry if you don’t have experience in this - we’re totally focused on just finding the right character.

Girls Under Construction was founded in 2021 to help bridge the gap between young women and the Construction industry, making it more understandable.  We are looking for passionate and ambitious young women who want to be part of a platform that is pushing to enlighten other young women and break the current 'BOB THE BUILDER' stigma within the Construction Industry.

*Remote role so you'll require a laptop.
*The Internship duration will be 3-6 months, however we're open to extending your internship to 12 months or providing you the opportunity to join the team on a new role!  
*All internships are currently voluntary (unpaid), and are on a flexible basis. We aim to work your schedule to ensure there's no clashes with other life priorities you have.
