Decibel Sounding Board Application Form
Austin PBS and the Decibel news team needs your help! We're starting our next reporting project on housing in Dove Springs and we're looking for volunteers to join our Sounding Board. This is a small committee made up from people who live and work in Dove Springs. You'll help us better understand your community, rate our work and guide our storytelling. In return you get to be part of an Austin PBS project, meet with other Austin PBS volunteers, and see your neighborhood reflected the way you see it! Here's what you'd be doing:

  • Attend at least 2 of 3 in-person meetings (1 hour each)
  • Rate new stories as they come out (10 minutes)
  • Help us with community outreach efforts (not required but would love to have you!)
  • Connect us with possible interviewees
