Antisemitism Webinar  -March 28 @7pm

Schools throughout California and the rest of the US are implementing changes to their curricula, driven by a subject called "Ethnic Studies" - a new CA graduation requirement. A specific, politicized type of Ethnic Studies invites Antisemitism into the classroom. Join an important conversation about fundamental changes in school curricula, the implications for our Jewish students and the Jewish community, and what you can do.

About our Speaker: Elina Kaplan
is the Co-Founder of Alliance for Constructive Ethnic Studies (ACES), which works to remove ideological agendas from K-12 Ethnic Studies. Elina has led nonprofit organizations for over 15 years, including MidPen Housing Services, one of California's largest affordable housing nonprofits. She has served as Chief Program Officer at the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center and has served on over 20 Jewish boards and committees in Northern California. A Former Soviet Union émigré, Elina began her career in the high-tech industry and established the first-ever Israeli-Palestinian software partnership.

The event will take place over Zoom and we will send you the link for the webinar upon completing your registration.
