Emotional Awareness Survey
Hey! This is easy, fun, and helps expand your mind. Thanks for being here.

Paying attention to what we feel and labeling the emotions accurately can create a profound shift in our self awareness. You are not an emotion; you feel an emotion (ex: I am not happy; I feel happiness).

Observing your emotional experience from this vantage point allows you to notice how your emotional experience manifests in physical sensations, informs your words and actions, and dictates the quality of your thoughts.

Considering how much time you spend feeling specific emotions can also help you understand the meaning of your past experiences, present ability to embrace reality, and likelihood of future success.

This simple survey will allow us all to see how we collectively are feeling most of the time. Your participation immediately benefits you as you move through life, and also benefits the collective by becoming more conscious and eloquent about your human experience.

How much of your time do you spend feeling the positive/comfortable emotions you listed? *

Terms like “positive” and “negative” are subjective, but generally speaking, emotions that feel comforting or exciting are literally healing for your body and emotions that feel uncomfortable or agitating are destructive to your body on a cellular level. There’s nothing wrong with experiencing discomfort, but sustained or unconscious discomfort without reprieve or without awareness of choice will cause suffering.
