Lawn Care/Snow Removal Costs
The current lawn care/snow removal contract is approximately $70,000 a year, or $36/month per Unit. The Association placed the contract out for competitive bid this year to 13 different qualified vendors. Of those, only 3 responded. Their pricing to provide service ranged from $90,000 to $110,000 a year. If a switch was made to one of these vendors the monthly assessment would increase by $10 to $20 a month, IN ADDITION TO other increases in other areas such as utilities, insurance, and other maintenance.

As it stands now, without making a change to the lawn/snow vendor, the Association is facing an 8% increase in the monthly assessment. If a change was made to the grounds care service this would increase the fee by 11-14%.
