The Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes at NC State invites you to the The Wolfpack Summit Professional Development Conference that will be held on April 19th in the Wendell H. Murphy Center from 9 am - 3 pm. Please join us for a full day of impactful in-person networking, interactive breakout sessions with colleagues, and content addressing the impacts of the shifting landscape of intercollegiate athletics on academic support professionals.
We are calling for proposals for 45-minute breakout sessions addressing the theme “It’s Bigger Than Us.” This year’s summit will highlight how our roles in academia are much bigger than our own self goals and how we hold a large responsibility to assist our student-athletes to be productive in the classroom and in society.

What types of sessions might I facilitate?

- Discussion-based
- Presentation
- Anything else - we encourage creativity!
What are examples of proposal topics?
**The below topics are intended to be thought provoking ideas and you are not limited to the following:
What new initiatives are your university implementing to best support the needs of student-athletes?
How have you partnered with coaches, supervisors, and other stakeholders on campus to address the ever changing needs of student-athletes?
What are some programs that you or your student-athletes have been a part of that help develop transferable skills from their sport/academics into the real world?
What are some ways to help student-athletes be more aware of their impact?
