Observing 2D patterns
Hi! My name is David Baričević, I am a Master student at the Utrecht University and currently I am working on my Master's Thesis. This survey's results will be used to evaluate the framework I constructed. This survey is targeted towards people with academic background in mathematics, computational geometry, computer science and similar domains. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes and is split into two parts. Please don't close the tab or the whole browser before finishing the survey, as the results would not be saved.

The purpose of this research is to create and validate a framework that improves current existing solutions for vegetation distribution across the virtual area, while keeping the numerical prerequisites, such as plant count, in each part of the map satisfied. This research project is being conducted by David Baričević under the supervision of Maarten Löffler, Jérôme Urhausen and Frank Staals, at Utrecht University. The results of this study will be used for scholarly purposes only.

Your participation in this research study is voluntary. You may choose not to participate. If you decide to participate in this research survey, you may withdraw at any time. If you decide not to participate in this study or if you withdraw from participating at any time, you will not be penalized.

The procedure involves filling an online survey that will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Your responses will be confidential and we do not collect identifying information such as your name or IP address. The survey questions will be about finding similarities and differences of patterns of grouped squares on a 2D map.

If you have any questions about the research study, please contact me at d.baricevic@students.uu.nl.
I agree that any information provided in this survey can be used for research purposes mentioned in the Consent form. *
