About this Workshop: Effective communication of ideas is an important yet often overlooked aspect of the research process. In this workshop, we will delve into two different types of research presentations: 1) a podium talk using a slideshow and 2) a poster. In doing so, we will discuss how different aspects of presentation design and verbal communication strategies will strengthen future research presentations.
