Bright Spot Farms 2020 CSA Member Form
Love getting fresh vegetables weekly from Bright Spot Farms?

Wish you could visit the farm where your veggies are grown?

Want to support our community’s young people while doing something good for yourself and your family?

We're here for you! Bright Spot Farms is a small, nonprofit farm based out of the West End Neighborhood House. Our farm is run by dedicated staff and the young adults in our youth training programs. Together, we grow fresh vegetables using practices consistent with the USDA organic standard, meaning no genetically modified seeds and no harmful pesticides on your vegetables. We grow these vegetables on 2 acres just outside Wilmington on Rte. 13 at the DE State Hospital Herman Holloway Campus (1901 N. DuPont Hwy. New Castle, DE 19720).

Going into our 5th season of production, Bright Spot Farms is starting a 30-member CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program in 2019, and we would love for you to be one of our first members! Our farm has grown tremendously over the past 4 seasons, and we want to share both our produce and our farm with our community members. Just a 15-minute drive from Wilmington, Bright Spot Farms is a highly accessible spot to pick up your locally grown, pesticide-free vegetables and relax after a long day of work!

What is a CSA and how does it work?:
In a CSA, individuals buy a "share" of the produce grown on a farm at the beginning of the season, which they receive weekly for the duration of the season. It is basically like a subscription to a farm! Customers receive their share of produce in lots of different ways and choose based on what works best for their lifestyle.

Our "summer" CSA will include veggies including (but not limited to):

Kale, collards, lettuce, spring mix, swiss chard, spinach, carrots, beets, radishes, turnips, zucchini, squash, snap peas, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers, eggplants, husk cherries, kohlrabi, cabbage, fennel, basil, parsley, cilantro, dill, scallions, garlic, onions, winter squash, and more!

Pick-up locations:
You can pick-up your packed share at the farm (1901 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle 19720 on the Herman Holloway Campus) or at West End Neighborhood House (710 N. Lincoln St., Wilmington, 197805).

Pick up days/times:
Herman Holloway pick-up hours: Wednesday 1-5 PM

West End pick-up hours: Wednesdays from 12-4 PM (when West End closes).

All shares are delivered weekly -

Full Shares contain 6-8 types of veggies and cost $750 ($31.25/wk)
