Lubbock-Cooper ISD is excited to welcome students back on August 19, whether they join us for traditional learning or virtual learning. On July 22, parents and guardians received information on both learning formats. The virtual instruction option is being provided for our families who have health and safety concerns surrounding sending their students back to school. If you have not reviewed the details of both options, please visit

LCISD parents and guardians are asked to select the return to school option that will best serve their child(ren). Every family must complete this form for every student in LCISD. In addition, please make sure you have completed the regular Online Verification process, which is a requirement for all LCISD students (

The Learning Format Commitment Form for 2020-21 must be completed by Friday, July 31, so we can begin planning how to utilize our staff to meet our learners’ needs. Once the commitment is finalized, students will be expected to remain in that same learning format for the first progress report period (three weeks), followed by opportunities to shift formats at the turn of each nine-week grading period.
Please have one parent/guardian submit the Learning Format Commitment Form for each student in your family. An individual form must be submitted for EACH child.
