The Ride the Wave Launch will be held in the Ballroom at Sails Rydges, this event is the official kick-off for the Ride The Wave Festival, leading into a big weekend of surf and skate competitions, as well as Ride The Sound Wave. Mark Mathews is a renowned big-wave surfer, boasting an extraordinary career and list of achievements. His attributes of persistence, courage, and ability to embrace fear have led to him forge his way as a powerful motivational speaker, and we can't wait to hear him at Ride The Wave.

COOPER CHAPMAN
Ride The Wave is a mental health skill building workshop, which is an interactive, fun and practical workshop to encourage good mental health across communities in NSW. Facilitated by pro surfer, Cooper Chapman.


A note from Cooper: “I am extremely proud of the workshop I have developed for young Australians. Growing up mental health was something completely off my radar and I wish I had a better education and understanding of what mental health is. My program encourages participants to shift their mindset around mental health to something to work on maintaining rather than “fixing” when we feel down. I inspire participants to take responsibility and develop key values such as kindness, empathy, mindfulness and gratitude. With great feedback and testimonials I am confident this program will have a lasting impact for all”

This program is proudly supported by Surfing NSW and its Surfing Mental Health 360 platform through the Youth Health Forum (Consumers Health Forum of Australia).

Jackson James is well known around town as one of our top local acoustic acts. If you haven't been lucky enough to hear him perform yet then you're missing out! A party isn't a party without great tunes, and we can guarantee you that Jackson will bring them to our launch event.

General admission tickets (no food or drinks included) are $30 per person, or if you like to be a bit fancy our VIP tickets are $60 per person and include preferred seating, Meet & Greet with our speaker, canapes and a welcome drink. Tickets are limited, don't miss out.
