For secondary or vertical  student teaching, we typically set up two placements, each for half of the time.  For instance 7 wks in MS math and 7 wks in HS math.  Or 7 weeks elem PE and 7 weeks HS PE.  Let me know if this is good or if you have other preferences below. 
Non-traditional placements or exemption to policy.  If you are seeking a placement outside of local schools or within an hours' drive, you will need to submit a letter to the chair or the director of student teaching ASAP.  You do not need to request an exemption to policy for S. Falls, S. City, or Storm Lake.  
Where do you want to student teach?  Please include your first, second, and third choice schools.  We will try to meet your request, but this is not guaranteed.  You are welcome to include your reasoning for each choice. Schools you graduated from are not an option. *
